Tribute to a beloved one whose accident was caused by drugs and alcohol.

This photographic project is a testimony to personal experiences, a look at some of life's trials and tribulations that can resonate with each and every one of us. Indeed, who hasn't felt powerless or 'drowned' by certain events? Through this project, I want to pay tribute to the people who are close to me and who sometimes struggle on a daily basis.
The themes of these images are alcoholism, drug addiction, assisted suicide or simply the loss of reference points in everyday life. These are common issues, but they are still all too often taboo in our society. The recurrent element is liquid, the primary symbol of life and the perpetual cycle, but also sometimes of destruction.
Far from trying to shock through these photographs, the aim here is to magnify pain, poetise it, reshape it to make it more acceptable and give it another face. The main message is that hope is possible and that the notion of failure is a psychological and social construct. My aim is for these images to generate a dialogue on these subjects.
By borrowing the aestheticism of painting, these works can be read on several levels, thanks to the details that make them up and the references that they evoke.
Tribute to a beloved one who has chosen to leave this world with assisted suicide.
